A fuse is a mechanism that ignites.  It sparks action…whether an electrical charge resulting in an explosion or a collision of people working together to make something new.  In this session, Dr. Jacobsen will share the importance of “fuses” in a school community.  His is a story of school transformation –  of students, teachers, and community members learning to build on each other’s ideas, stretch and be stretched, and build something new.  Dr. Jacobsen’s journey of leadership, innovation, and collaboration is applicable to the high levels of leadership to the classroom teacher in the trenches with students.
